So……..I learned a valuable lesson today in Realflow. When trying to create a slow motion effect its best to make sure you simulate at a higher frame rate and render at your default animation frame rate. I made the mistake of simulating the water at 24fps and when I rendered everything out, lets just say, it looked like a hot mess. To be more specific, the animation of the water was extremely too fast. My poor laptop has been chugging away re-simulating the water and building meshes for the particles. Hopefully my external hard drive has enough space to hold all the mesh files, these things eat up MB’s!! New update of the effect will be posted shortly. I’ll spare myself the embarrassment of posting the current video of the effect.
